This is a large hot potato salad recipe to serve dinner time. There are over, how familiar German potato salad ingredients: potatoes, bacon, celery, onion, cider vinegar and pickles. It is a fairly easy, fried potato salad- recipe and served to make delicious warm.

6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

4 Slices Bacon, chopped

2/3 Cup celery, chopped

2/3 Cup onion, chopped

2 Tablespoons flour

3 / 4 Teaspoon salt

1 / 4 Teaspoon of ground black pepper

3/4 Cup water

1/2 Cup cider vinegar

1/2 Cup sugar

1/3 Cup dill pickles, chopped

1/4 Cup sliced cut radish, thinly sliced (optional)

Directions

Oven to 350 degrees.

In a covered saucepan, Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 12 to 15 minutes until soft; Drain.

You cook in a large skillet, the bacon until Nice and razor sharp; Drain. Let the bacon drippings in skillet. Add the celery and onions in the Pan and cook for 1 minute; stirring constantly.

Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook while stirring mix for another minute. 3/4 Cup of water and vinegar stir. Stir mixture until it thickened and bubbly. Stir the sugar.

In a 2-quart saucepan, combine the potatoes and bacon. Stir into the mix of celery in the potatoes.

Cover and Bake 30 minutes. Stir in the cucumber and radishes. Serve warm.

Use a wire whisk in a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, pepper, sour cream and parsley. Mayonnaise mixture in mixing with the potatoes and all the way to combine. Chill salad in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
