3 Easy to pea side dishes recipes Cook

When it comes to vegetable side dish recipe for my family, I often dont know what to do with peas. But a few years ago...I met a wonderful woman of Lancaster County, PA, several of your favorite recipe-s I shared with.

All this recipe-s are easy to prepare. The first two recipe-s make less than 30 minutes, and the final recipe is less than an hour. All recipe-s fresh or frozen peas use, but you could certainly replace with canned peas, if that is, whatever you prefer.

Lemon and Mint peas

1 Pound frozen peas

1 / 2 lb pearl onions

1 jar diced pimento, drained

1 1/2 TBS soft butter

1 1/2 Teaspoon lemon juice

1 1/2 Teaspoon Mint flakes

grated lemon rind

Cooking you in a large pot the peas according to package directions, drain you water. Put peas, back into the saucepan with the remaining ingredients. You simmer the mixture of medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Serve immediately.

French style peas

1 small head chopped salad,

2 Packages frozen peas

1 / 4 Teaspoon dried parsley

1 / 2 Teaspoon salt

1 / 4 TEASPOON of granulated sugar

1 Teaspoon thyme

1/4 Cup butter, soft

2 Tablespoons water

2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion

Add salad in a large pot in the tattered head. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix until all ingredients are combined. Reduce mixture to a full boil to bring, and heat. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve immediately.

Baked Auntie of peas.

20 Ounce bag of frozen peas

1 Cream can celery soup

1/2 Cup bread crumbs

4 El unsalted butter, melted

Salt and pepper to taste

Coat the inside of a 2 quart casserole with butter. Break up the frozen peas and mix in the cream of celery soup. Top the mixture with buttered bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes or until done.
